Wow!!  We just celebrated our 2nd annual Holiday Open House.  It was a huge success we lots and lots and lots of people stopping in!!  Thank you so very much for all that made the weekend a great success!  It was so nice to see so many people in the store.  As many of you know the road consturction out front has been going on for far too long!  I have word that it should be done this week and the road in front of the store will be much more accessible again!  Thanks for your patience during this process.  I really do think it should be nice when all is said and done.

If you missed the chance to stop by this weekend watch the blog and check for emails regarding other promotions I will be having leading up to Christmas.  There are some great new items in the store.  Check out the purse hangers, slippers, chill pills, chocolate pizza slices, giant peanut butter cups, and fun holiday dips.  We  actually sold out of quite a few dips over the weekend but don't worry more are on the way!  Still lots of great holiday decor to dress up your home for the season and we would be happy to help give some ideas on center pieces and other decorating ideas! 

Don't forget about our "wish list" sign up.  You can fill out the list with all the wonderful items you would like to receive and we can contact that gift giving person in your life to help them with their shopping for you!

It really is unbelievable that it has already been one year since I opened the store!  I truly need to say a big thank you to everyone who helped me make this dream a reality.  It starts all the way back to family and friends that helped from the beginning stages and stuck by me to this day!  I have a great staff that took a strong interest in the store and has worked hard for me. I really appreciate the level of committment they have given.  Most definately I need  to thank all the people that have stopped by to see the store, have referred family and friends and have come back again and again!  I have enjoyed every minute of this past year.  I only hope that I will have many more to come!  I feel very blessed to have had this opportunity and I am grateful to all the wonderful people I have been meeting.  I honestly can say that I love my job!  Thank you again for supporting me and the store and I look forward to bringing many more fun, exciting and beautiful pieces of merchandise to you to make your home shine and allow you to brighten somone's day with that unique gift.  

With the past weekend's one year anniversary sale a huge success it is time to think ahead!!   I know our summer doesn't seem like it really ever began so thinking fall is difficult, but with back to school right around the corner it really is that time.  The store has been transformed and fall and Halloween merhcandise is out with a few more items on the way!!  Make sure to stop by and see all the great new arrivals!   Hope to see you soon!

With the warmer temps this week hopefully we have rounded the corner and spring/summer is truly on its way!  I hope the sunshine and warmer weather has lifted your spirits I know it has mine and you can transfer that feeling to your home as well!!

We have just gotten in a new line on floral that is a must see!  You will also need to check out the fuel gel fire pots.  They are wick less and can be used indoors or outside.  This will make a great gift or a wonderful addition to a deck or patio.  I know these will be very popular!!  I already purchased one for my mom for Mother's Day.  Also, arriving any day will be a new line of rugs and some fun new garden stakes!!  Stop by and check it all out!

I thought I would share a few ideas with you regarding the vinyl wall art.  This item has been so popular and can be custom ordered in colors or any saying you want.  They are so easy to apply to your wall or any other surface, even textured walls and can be removed without any damage to your wall.  It is so simple, but truly makes a nice dramatic statement to your home.  There are a couple of other ideas that can be done using the wall art.  You can apply a phrase to a mirror or a few single words in a diagonal effect down the mirror or purchase a ceramic tile and a single word or short phrase to apply to the tile and set in an easel and display on a counter, ledge or shelf.  The new monograms and frames work great on a front door, window, or on a painted board.  You can dress up the look of the board as much as you want.  Router the edge or add decorative moulding and paint the board to match your color scheme or apply to a matte and frame with glass and moulding or a preassembled frame.  This is definitely a time to think "outside the box" it is a wonderful way to personalize your space!

Hot is exactly what it was at the store this past weekend for the Spring Open House!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much to all who were a part of this great event!!!  The store was jammed packed with people all three days and lots of merchandise went out the door!  But don't worry I am ordering more!  I hope everyone is enjoying their purchases and had  a good time while visiting us!

There were definitely some popular items this weekend.  The vinyl wall art was in hot demand along with the new dip mixes that recently arrived and the garden trellis's with bell.  If you miseed out on these items or couldn't make it in make sure when you do to ask to see these items.  There is still some new merchandise that will be arriving in the next couple of weeks a new line of rugs and spring floral.  Just arrived a new tasty treat.  A rice krispy bar like no other.  One you must try and your tastebuds will fall in love!  I

The store will definitely have you thinking spring!  Now is the time to shop!  There are lots of new wonderful items that you must checkout and they may not be around for long. 

The new wood arrow signs are a hot new item and you can change the sign with the holidays or seasons.  The metal daisy stakes and garland are back and were very popular when we opened in August.  The new additions to vinyl wall art has arrived and the monogram collection is a must see!  Don't forget about our special order bedding in all sizes and many patterns to choose from along with a line of baby bedding. 

We wanted to also remind you about being able to register at the store for your wedding or bridal and baby showers.  You can also fill out a wish list of all your must have items and we will contact those special gift giving people in you life to let them know of your wishes for birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, etc.!!

If you haven't had a chance to visit the store recently you really need to find a moment to stop in.  We would love to see you and to share all the new and exciting merchandise that is arriving!

Spring has definitely sprung at daisies & daydreams.  Here are just a few of the new arrivals:  many new colorful spring florals in wreaths, garlands, picks and candle rings, fun St. Patrick's Day merchandise and adorable Easter items.  We have a new line of dip/cheese ball mixes such as martini, pomegranate, cosmopolitan, and more!  There are also a wide selection of inspirational stitched samplers.

Arriving daily at the store you will find an expanded line of baby merchandise with great gift giving items, fun and unique garden decor, and spring candle scents. 

Make sure to watch for new designs and monograms in vinyl rub on wall art, expanded sizes and designs in garden flags, yard signs, and magnetic mailbox wraps and unique watering cans, whimsical garden stakes and much, much more!!!

There really is a lot going on and we would be thrilled to help you put together an unique gift for someone or help you find some new exciting things to dress up your home! 

It is amazing, but we get asked quite often on how to fill a really large wall.  You may also have been wondering the same thing so I thought we would share some ideas that we have for people. 

First,  keep in mind the walls that intersect the larger wall.  If they are shorter walls keep them simple so that you can put more on the larger wall to fill the space without the room looking too cluttered.  Second, try to pick items in varying sizes, color and texture to make the wall more interesting without thinking you need to add extra items to accomplish the same concept.  Next, don't think that the items have to stay in a straight line, position them at different heights or diagonals this will help to make the wall look fuller by working with the overall height and not just the width of the wall.  Lastly, consider taking your largest item and placing it farther to the left or right and not making it be the center point.  Then work the smaller items into a grouping that form the center point and try to remember to use odd numbers to make up that grouping.  

A larger wall does not have to be intimidating it really can be fun and easy to decorate.  Think of it this way, it just means you get to shop for more fun and cute merchandise!!

Happy New Year to everyone!  I need to start with a huge thank you for a great first Holiday season!  Despite our economy woes, sales at the store continue to be strong and I truly thank you for your support!!! 

It appears another holiday season came and went in a blink of an eye and with our snowy December I feel myself wishing for green grass and warmer temps.  The store has started to take on a "springy" look and will be transforming even further in the next month so make sure to stop in and check out all the new merchandise arriving.  There will be  Valentine's, St. Patrick's, and Easter merchandise arriving also.  I look forward to sharing it all with you  and I will also be having a Spring Open House so stayed tuned for all the details.

WOW!!!  This is all I can say!  I can't express enough my gratitude for your support of the store.  It is so wonderful hearing your positive comments and seeing your reactions to the store.  I am so happy to be able to share in your excitement.  It truly is a dream come true!

Thank you for venturing out in the frigid temps and blustering winds this past weekend for the holiday open house,  for your patience while waiting in line, and for making the weekend so enjoyable. 

It was so much fun helping everyone and I truly hope you found wonderful and unique items to give to those special people in your life and even took an opportunity to treat yourself to a few great treasures to celebrate the season, pamper yourself, or brighten up your home for the holiday.

Wow!!  Can you believe it is the middle of October already?  It has been so busy in the store thank you to all that have stopped in to visit and see what we are all about!     

With the leaves rapidly falling to the ground the snowflakes, I hate to say it, are soon to be right behind and the store is staring to look a lot like Christmas!  There are many new great items and wonderful and unique gift items that  I am so excited to share with you all.  This is where I need your help!  In order to make room for the new Christmas merchandise I need to clear out of some of the fantastic Halloween items that are left.  This weekend Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th stop in the store and get 20% OFF all remaining Halloween decor!!  Now is the time to stop in!
